Mark V Special Operations Craft, former U.S. Navy
Made by Halter Marine (attributed)1995California, United States
A former U.S. Navy Mark V-class special operations craft — an angular, low-profile aluminum fast boat built to insert and extract special warfare teams at speed. Twin diesel waterjets give the class roughly 5,000 horsepower and speeds beyond 50 knots. Decommissioned hulls rarely enter private hands; this example was acquired from the Navy and is frequently seen underway off the Orange County coast.
