About the Collection
In 2004 the industrialist purchased the Forbes family's nine Imperial Fabergé Easter eggs — the second-largest such group after the Kremlin's ten — along with thousands of Fabergé objects, forming the core of the Fabergé Museum in Saint Petersburg (The New York Times).
Custodianship Philosophy
"These objects belong to Russian history; a collector is only their temporary address."
